Laser Comp Winner "Holly Curtis"

A Huge thankyou to everyone that entered the "Win a Laser" comp.

Below is the winning entry from Holly Curtis of New Zealand.

16 year old Holly Curtis from Hamilton in the North Island of New Zealand, has been selected by the judging panel as the very worthy winner of our first Win A Laser competition.
New Zealander Holly Curtis wins a Laser Radial -

Holly was definitely both shocked and excited and looking forward to switching to a Laser Radial. We are arranging for her to have some Laser coaching.' Sail-World also spoke to Holly who is in Year 12 studying at St Peters in Cambridge; she started the two year International Baccalaureate Diploma program this year. 'I am studying hard, but I enjoy my sport. In summer it’s all sailing, and then I switch to hockey and rock climbing in the winter. 'Mum and Dad have been very supportive of my sailing. I'm sure that my friends would agree that I absolutely love sailing and they complain that there wouldn't be a day that goes by where I wouldn't talk of sailing.

You can read the rest of the article here: http://www.lasersailing.com.au/news.html

Below is the Holly's winning answer from the competition.

In 25 words or less tell us why you deserve to win the Laser.........

I am a tall girl, who would like to one day get to high national level and maybe even international. I have been sailing since I was a baby on my parents keeler, ask my friends. All I talk about is sailing.
